This is my own K/S take on what happened behind the scenes in the original episodes. The ratings here are going to be all over the place from G to NC-17, so warning for those who don't like to read sex, these guys have some.
But for me, K/S isn't just about the sex. It's the obvious love between the guys. It's the fact that these characters are like old friends, larger than life, who have had some very tough times in their lives, tragedy and hardship, and yet somehow keep finding each other, connecting with their friends, and finding their way to what really matters--the contact and love between people.
These logs are a personal and private view of the thoughts and minds of James T. Kirk, Spock, and a number of their closest friends. There are lots of background details ---most of these are not canon, some are from my own fertile brain, based on hints and subtext, and some are fanon which wound its way into my subconscious. I'm indebted to Jenna Sinclair, Greywolf, Rae Trail, Farfalla the Butterfly-Kitten, and many other fellow writers too numerous to mention for background details which have brought the pair to life not only to me, but to many other readers and writers.
And of course I'm in debt to those who've taken on the task of beta editing my "purple prose", and those who have offered valuable advice, including Fiona, Frank Fetters, Ginger, Tony Pearson, Pat, the Professor, Ranger and the afore-mentioned Jenna Hilary Sinclair, who is a hard taskmistress, for which I'm forever grateful.
